L'Oréal shampoo and competitors

The L'Oréal Group is the world's largest cosmetics and beauty company.  L’Oreal products consist of skincare, cosmetics, hair colouring, hair care, hair styling and products for men.
L'Oréal Elvive is the name for all the different kinds of hair care shampoo’s L’Oréal have on the market. L’Oréal Elvive do specialised shampoos depending on your hair type such as coloured or highlighted hair, Dry, damaged or brittle hair, long or dull, hard to manage hair, anti-dandruff, ageing hair and normal. Prices of the L’Oréal Elvive shampoo range from around £2.70 to around £4.00.
An approach grounded in science and superior quality products.
At the forefront of innovation in science, our teams of researchers use the latest technological discoveries to develop unique and visionary products that are, above all, easy to understand and use: our mission is to make these scientific innovations accessible to all.
I found this on the L’Oréal website it shows that L’Oréal do their best to make sure their products are as good as they can be by scientifically researching  new innovations to use in their products, and if people know about theses scientific qualities used in their products it will make them more appealing to customers.
There are other shampoos similar on the market that competes with the brand L’Oréal such as:
Aussie shampoo which is similar to L’Oréal Elvive shampoo as it has shampoos which are specialised for things such as heat protection, strengthening hair and volume and many more however some of these uses L’Oréal shampoo do not specialise in therefore making Aussie shampoo a high competitor for L’Oréal  although  Aussie shampoo is slightly more expensive being around £4.00.
Head & Shoulders is also a popular brand of shampoo designed to get rid of dandruff as well as other uses such as volume, damage rescue, colour damage and more. Being a specialised anti-dandruff shampoo people may choose to buy this instead of a L’Oréal anti-dandruff shampoo as Head &shoulders is the brand well known for their anti-dandruff shampoo however  they are slightly more expensive with the lowest prices being around £3.00 and there highest prices to be around £5.00.
Herbal Essences is a popular brand of shampoo known for its advertising and it use of exotic fruit and flower extracts also, like the other brands I have looked at, specialises in volume, curl and frizz control,  anti-dandruff, colour enhancer, shine and more.  This is a popular shampoo due to the colourful packaging and the scent therefore making it a big competitor with L’Oréal Elvive shampoo.  Also prices on average are around £3.00 being cheaper than other brands of shampoos.
John Frieda is hair salon quality shampoo and other hair products. This is why the John Frieda brand is popular as people think they will get salon quality looking hair after using their products. John Frieda is well known for the frizz-ease shampoo and also has other shampoos used for volume, root awakening and specialised shampoos for blonde hair and for brunettes. However because it is salon quality it is more expensive being around on average £6.00.
The shampoos above are all popular, well-known shampoos making the competitors for L’Oreal shampoo.
